Viviana Lasaracina
Viviana Lasaracina, Italian pianist, was born in 1988. She started her piano studies at the age of 6. She graduated from “Nino Rota” Conservatory at the age of 18, having studied under Prof. Benedetto Lupo. In 2004, she won a scholarship and a recording opportunity for “Sarx Records” in Milan and a scholarship from the Ministry of Education University and Research.
She has won many national and international piano competitions in Italy including: “Città di Cesenatico,” “Marco Bramanti,”and “Torneo Internazionale della Musica.” She was winner of the 11th Castrocaro Competition, and won 2nd prize at the “Premio Venezia.” She was a finalist at 57th “Ferruccio Busoni” International Piano competition in Bolzano. She was selected as a competitor in the 2010 Gina Bachauer International Artists Piano Competition. Viviana won the 3rd Prize and the prize for the best performance of Spanish Music at “Ciudad de Ferrol” International Piano Competition, the 3rd Prize and Audience Prize at 53rd Ciudad de Jaèn” International Piano Competition, was laureate at “Halina Czerny Stefanska in memoriam” International Piano Competition and won 2nd Prize and the prize for the best performance of a Classical work at 1st Open Piano Competition in London. She was among the six finalists at the German Piano Awards in Frankfurt and winner of the New York Concert Artists Carnegie Recital Debut Auditions.
Recent performances have included appearances on Radio Vaticana and Rai Radio3 as well as recitals in Italy, Austria, Spain, Germany, France,England, and the United States. She also performed with Magna Grecia Orchestra, Ciudad de Granada Orchestra, and Bacau “Mihail Jora” Orchestra.
Recipient of a generous scholarship, she is currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London with Professor Christopher Elton.
